Human Resource Information System
A centralized workforce-management system for employee records, schedules, leave, contracts, requests and incident reporting.

Overview
The HRIS brings the day-to-day work of an HR team into one web application. HR staff can see attendance problems, contracts that are about to end and pending requests from a single dashboard, then act on them from dedicated modules.
Each area of HR work — the employee directory, schedules, leave, contracts, training, incidents and employee requests — has its own screen with search and filters, so records stay in one place instead of in separate spreadsheets.
Business purpose
HR information such as tardiness, absences, contracts, leave and disciplinary notices is easy to lose across spreadsheets and chat threads. The system centralizes it so HR can monitor and approve from one place.
My role
- I developed this web application as part of my systems-development work.
- I built the dashboards, record modules and approval screens shown below.
Technical implementation
- Server-rendered PHP pages backed by a relational database.
- Session-based sign-in; the interface shows the signed-in HR account and a logout action.
- Department and date-range filters drive the dashboard lists.
- Employee records can be registered individually or imported from a CSV file.
- PHP
- MySQL
- JavaScript
- CSS
The stack I use for my HRIS work.
